I'm right on the southern edge of this storm. Lots of lightning and thunder to the north. I get a few sprinkles here and there but not much so far. It seems to be back-building some so I keep watching it.
I have to remember to troll the rain gods more often.

It appeared as if we would get Lucy and footballed, but we're right on the edge of the backbuilding, so rain is on and off, but at least it's wet. Survive and advance.
Hope you guys get some rain. It's holding together and strengthening for now.

Got a major tease with .02” last night with quite the lightning show. NWS has inserted 40% for this afternoon so maybe there will be another round for us….with actual rain here.

A 20% chance of showers down here in NW Galveston County. Radar current shows some showers in Brazoria and Galveston Counties currently. Fingers crossed.

Well I can tell you one thing, there’s plenty of heat and humidity out there for storms to work with.

Really needed to mow today and although I can't complain about rain, it's not happening.

Luckily I got a mow in Thursday.. I’m at .8” in the last 20 min and still coming down at a 3.8” per hour rate according to my weather station. I’ll take it!
