Dan's legacy lives on 24/7 through this weather board. I miss him and think about him everytime I log on!!!!! I am very proud to be apart of this weather family forum even though I don't post nearly as much as I used to. Then again, we've kinda been stuck in a benign (for the most part) weather pattern for the past couple of years. Here's to many more years of continued discussion, and dissemination of information on our weather forum. Miss ya Dan!!!!

dan didnt lost his battle with cancer. cancer lost its battle with dan meador. dan defeated cancer and dan moved onto the next plane of existence. a different dimensional realm where he is located.

Happy Birthday old Friend. Dan would have been 68 today. There is rarely a week and certainly not a weather event that takes me right back to the memories I have talking to Dan, sometimes almost hourly. I know Dan looks down on us and is incredibly proud of what our Weather Community has become. We miss you old friend and will continue the good work you began so long ago!

Yes. We were just talking about Dan ( and our mutual love for him) this past Thursday night on the phone. Those early days with us ( remember Katdaddy?) were like the Wild Wild West..:) We do miss him...

My God I can’t believe it’s been that long already. It seems like yesterday when he was still posting on here. He will live with us forever.
