Really? It was raining cats and dogs on campus. There's enough backbuilding where we'll have showers waxing and waning for a few more hours.

Not sure how far the line will move before this evening.

It feels like it could be a stormy day, but the radar isn't so optimistic south of our favorite Highway up north.

That certain Highway is like a wall. The satellite loop is frustrating to watch.

There could be in outflow boundary in an hour that might hold together. CLL is behind the front now. The air is stabilizing with what little breeze there is is northerly... and risk of severe weather over. Just a steady rain. Will take that. The lawn is mowed. Sprinklers are off.

It's too bad the return flow begins in 24 hours or less.

HRRR continues to insist this line will build down to the coast. We'll see but so far it's staying north. I think this strong south wind is keeping the storms north at the moment.

The line is marching to the south and southeast now. I just had an outflow boundary blow by my from the storms to the north and northeast. I hope it doesn't spoil it for the storms to my northwest. I need them to hold together!!

There it is. The line is bow-echoing and should be hitting The Woodlands soon.

It's chugging now. Maybe an hour or two before Houston metro and areas south start seeing something.
