Don I agree that map sure does look good! Fingers crossed everyone gets some beneficial rain next week, will see about TC development though
Green dot right over my house. That’s probably what will happen too.don wrote: ↑Tue Jun 21, 2022 11:58 amGFS looks pretty good even without showing the surface low it has a decent amount of moisture with the frontal boundary next week.Stratton20 wrote: ↑Tue Jun 21, 2022 11:52 am GFS doesnt really show much of anything next week with the surface low, we will see what the CMC and Euro have to say though
Second bit of rain for Friendswood today.
I didn't see anybody mention it but we had a cell blow up right over my neighborhood in Cypress (Fairfield) just east of 99 yesterday evening. My son and I had just left for a bike ride and were about a mile or so from home and it just unleashed out of nowhere. High winds, thunder, lightening, and very heavy rains. Over 1" in a 20 minute span and a couple more tenths over 30 minutes as it died down. Felt really lucky to get that but it was a bit scary making our way home in the lightening and winds with a 6 year old.

Nice!
There's a weakening cell within about 3 miles from home. The AggieDome (ridge) will probably block it. I'm heading home from A&M. Maybe a surprise?
