18Z GFS has a Tropical depression or weak storm riding the coast from South Texas to the middle Texas coast.

Glad to see rain chances on the rise, Heck at this point just bring some clouds to the this blow torch off my plants, grass, trees, roof, truck, etc.

Have to imagine fireworks are not happening if we don’t get some good rains this coming week.

18z GFS is a really good run. Shows the low moving in just south of Corpus Christi and moving slowly north. It looks like there is good consensus now that the low that forms will turn in a northerly direction after moving onshore. The trend is really good for us.

Something to watch is how quickly the Low moves in and out of our area , while a slowing moving system would be great for breaking the drought, we also know that slow moving systems are notorious for creating flooding rains, absolutely not saying thays going to be the case here, but seeing that big bullseye by the Euro is definitely worth watching giving this low will be in our vicinity at least until friday

If the track of the Euro verifies I think most of us will all get some good rains. That nne trajectory of the last GFS isn’t good.

0Z ICON into the Sabine as a tropical storm.For right now the ICON still remains an outlier as all the other models are much further west.Lets see what the rest of the models show tonight.

0Z GFS showing a Depression riding the coast north into Matagorda or Port Aransas, it also keeps the center a little more offshore in this run.It has rainfall further inland also.With widespread rainfall amounts of 2-4 inches with some of our western counties getting up to 10 inches of rain.

GFS has a max bullseye of 18 inches just off shore on that run, something to keep an eye on

We made it out alive! No more 100+ temps this week. The cloud cover, rain showers and forecasted low 90s will be quite a treat this week. I have never been so excited for clouds and rain as I have this past week. Bring it! All week!! Hopefully everyone will get some beneficial rain this week. A weak (nearby) tropical disturbance or TS couldn’t have come at a better time. Now hopefully it traverses just right that its a win win for all.

I swear, if they aren't being too conservative, they go into full panic mode and nothing happens.

Seems like they are all conservative till the day of the event then they go into panic mode
