Same story. They fall apart before they get here…only to re-form and blossom to my immediate north…

One more line along the sea breeze trying to form in Fort Bend headed towards Sugar Land.

It sure would be nice of they would build into a nice complex. Odds are it’ll fizzle though when it gets close to Spring Creek.

Thank you! One thing I forgot to mention is that snow happens way more frequently in Starkville so if I have some exciting winter weather, I will be sure to share!

Cosgrove mentioning 2013/2014 as a analog for Fall/Winter

With all of the high pressures of late pretty well everywhere, a system in the right place could easily become trapped somewhere.

I'm starting to think we may (fingers crossed) have passed the worst of summer. Average highs will start to decrease in a few weeks (woohooooo)!

On another note, I have not ever talked on here about my career goals, but I am moving to Starkville, Mississippi on the 12th to pursue my bachelor's degree in Professional Meteorology at Mississippi State! So, while I will not be living in Texas, I will still continue to track weather and converse with the community, but I will be busy taking more than a full load this fall. It will also be fun to track tornadoes and other weather while I am living there.
Congrats. Starkville gets occasional snow. Sleet, freezing rain and cold rain are more likely.

It is wet, wet, wet all year round. Not too far west of Tuscaloosa.

Yes. It is definitely wet there. My roommate told me it has been raining there almost every day this summer.

You are definitely right it being close to Tuscaloosa! It's about an hour drive lol. My poor Bulldogs get clobbered by a certain team there every year in football, but then again, just about every team does.

They have a great coach now with Mike Leach. They never should have run him out of Lubbock.

Leach discovered at Wash St. that the pirate offense is even more fun when the team can also play defense. Miss. St. is my sleeper team in the SEC. They could finish in the Top 3 in the SEC West.

This warms my heart reading this. I also believe that they have great potential. The starting quarterback, Will Rogers, is rather underrated in my opinion. He had almost 5,000 passing yards last season with a 73.9% completion rate. As a comparison, Bryce Young from Alabama had about 100 more yards in passing, but only had a 66.9% completion rate.
