HRRR still showing 13 here. No reason to change my thinking. TWC app just won’t let go of 17 (been consistent at 17 going on 3 or 4 days now — it’s been very consistent) but in the end, it will cave I think.

I think I’m going for a 5 mile run in below zero wind chills tomorrow. Always love a challenge!

Oh my run club would love you…I think. Lol. A friend of mine crossed running in snow off her bucket list. She’s in CO.

I’m down for a run with others. Are y’all in MoCo?

I went running the day after the 2021 snowfall in 14 degree weather and in my snow boots. It was interesting simply because I fell a couple of time on ice

Running in the snow is fun. Done it. :) Due to health concerns, I am bound to my treadmill for all of 2023.

Looks like a lot of forecasts I’m seeing are forecasting temps about 3-5 degrees above what the HRRR is showing.

What HRRR is forecasting would be the coldest since February 2021.

Yes we’re in MoCo. We have members from all over. Check them out northside running. I know most are running Thursday. There might be a brave soul getting out Friday.

The temp drops after the front are insane. It’s really going to be an experience to feel a 30+ degree temp change in less than half an hour.

I've been watching the temp drops at some stations and the posts on S2K and wow - this front is a true Blue Norther - minus the precip! Get ready folks - this is the real deal!

It barely reached 50° here, and we won't reach that tomorrow before things crash. Remember those 70s predictions.

We picked our son up in Austin. He took an earlier flight from MInneapolis to escape the blizzard.

30-40°F difference across the front and this is at night. It's just reach the tip of the northern Texas panhandle.
