Yes - we have a heavy line of showers moving through now. Lower dewpoints and more seasonable temps behind it.
Forecasted high tomorrow is about 8 degrees F higher than the average, and the low is about 18 degrees higher than normal. Not exactly seasonal.

Yep same here. HRRR has been showing this exact thing for a few days in the SW of the CWA

snowman65 right now their are pretty decent indications that a sudden stratospheric warming event is going to take place meaning the 2nd half of January could be very cold, their is a lag time of about 2-4 weeks with a SSWA so it wont be until probably after the 15th where we start to get cold again

Large variation in rainfall totals across Harris county with the western portions getting less than a .25 of precip. While areas of southeast Harris county got as much as 3 inches of rain.Galveston county appears to be the winners with some areas getting 6+ inches of rain.

It depends where you are. In BCS the high will be 3 degrees above normal today. The low about 5°F above normal. Comparatively, a lot more seasonal. It will warm for a couple of days, then highs and lows in the mid 60s and lows around 40. Pretty seasonal. Your mileage may vary.

It sure beats 70°F dewpoints!

More colder weather in the last half of January.

Right. This is pretty much what we expected nearly a month ago. When there is a "loose" polar vortex, expect a roller coaster with wide swings.

Emptied 1.50” from yesterday’s rainfall. Not bad for La Nina.
