Yeah if I saw that verifying 24-48 out, I’d go work from our Lewisville office and head west.

Now that's what you call a potent storm. If only we could get the storm to dig a little more so the surface reflection stays in the Gulf, and the cold core gets right over us.We can dream at least LOL.

There’s still time. That’s 5-7 days out. Wonder what the EPS will show…

I think 2978 is a magic boundary between me and you. Our front yard in Magnolia is a lake

Time frame for I-10 corridor would not be next week as it would not be cold enough. It would be in 2 week and into February where we would need to be on the lookout for either snow or ice as the cold air would drain in from Canada.

That would be a severe weather outbreak right there.

45°F here this morning and the weather apps are saying 52°F … weird!

Guess I was sitting in a cold pocket at the house because the closer I got to the reporting site in Wharton it actually was 51°F..checked the app and sure enough 51°. That’s the first time I ever recall such a disparity over just a 10 mile difference around where I live.

Nice weather today! Saturday looks miserable. Next week looks chilly but nothing unusual. Might be flirting with freezing Thursday morning but that’s still a week out.

Dew points in the 30’s out there today with temps in the upper 60’s-low 70’s. Yeah, today is definitely a beautiful day!

Yep, today's models are continuing to trend further inland with the surface reflection.Bringing the triple point right over SE and E Texas on Tuesday. And also bringing the warm sector further inland. If the trend continues the discussion may need to turn more towards a severe weather event with all modes of severe weather possible.

sambucol no, the low is too far inland, we will be in the warm sector of this system, but we will need to keep an eye on the next system around the 28th, the GFS has a surface low developing in the gulf

Another Chamber of Commerce day. Enjoy them when they happen before our early summers.
