It blew through here. No rotation just a series of downbursts and heavy rain. Not much lightning. I think the top collapsed.

Man that storm along I-10 looks wicked. Looks like it’s wrapping into a big hook.

Yep im concerned about that one also, they just issued a tornado warning on it.

* Until 1245 PM CST.

* At 1210 PM CST, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a
tornado was located over Katy, moving northeast at 50 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree
damage is likely.

* This dangerous storm will be near...
Northwestern Eldridge / West Oaks around 1220 PM CST.
Addicks Park Ten and Cypress around 1225 PM CST.
Jersey Village, Spring Branch West, Carverdale, Fairbanks /

* Until 100 PM CST.

* At 1224 PM CST, a severe thunderstorm was located over Edna, moving
northeast at 40 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
El Campo, Edna, Ganado, Louise and Lake Texana Dam.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 600 PM CST for south central
and southeastern Texas.

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Once it goes linear we will. As far as discreet storms, it looks like that forecast missed the mark. I've never seen where the warm sector gets nothing and the area north of the warm front gets hammered like this.

Very confident I finish over 4 inches. The ditch across the street has linked up with mine.

And my neighbors 10 acres look like a lake.

These winds are crazy today.The supercell moving into Wharton/El Campo needs to be watched.

That cell in Fort bend county is nasty. Folks to the east and northeast of it need to keep an eye on it.

I am at 290/BW8 area, how much longer until the front starts sliding this stuff off to the E/SE?

As of right now, received 4.8 inches of rain here in Cypress. Whole back yard is a lake.

Looks like the bark has been worse than the bite so far. Not really seeing or hearing any reports of damage. Good news. Just some gusty winds and moderate to heavy rains so far.

There is damage in Eagle Lake though.But that's all I've heard so far of damage.Flooding is becoming the bigger issue for the metro though.
