Bush IAH set a daily rainfall record today with 4.04”
Ended up with just shy of 6 inches. Neighborhood lakes at bankful, which I've never seen in the 15 years that we've lived here.
That is a lot of dumb people driving straight into it.captainbarbossa19 wrote: ↑Tue Jan 24, 2023 9:57 pm I'm not sure if the photo was real, but this definitely was!

I saw that, i get its rain wrapped but still driving straight into a tornado, now that is a whole new level of stupidity, they are lucky they werent killed
That advection/wind out of the NW has really picked up tonight out there. It's no joke.
Many never saw the tornado it was a blinding rain before hand. Please do be so harsh of these people. Some were waiting in line to pick up their kids from schools

Lindner just posted that the pic of the tornado is not Deer Park
We had a close call in our neighborhood in Orange yesterday. . Something blew through. I wasnt home but my wife was. She said it was scary. This trampoline ended up at our front door. The owners live on the next street over. It had to travel over a house and across our street. Probably 100 yards altogether. You can drive around the hood and follow the path it took. There is also grass stuck to the front doir and windows from the force of the wind.
