Boy the upper level pattern on the 12z Euro looks nice, Euro says goodbye to the swamp weather lol
Re: February 2023
Austin was supposed to be 75 tomorrow. The weather apps still show 75 but the NWS says 56. Only a 20-degree difference. No biggie

Cool air overperforming again. Our forecast dropped 10° for Saturday.
Sure beats record minimum lows.
Going out with the dog to "earn" our chimichangas!

What do you guys recommend for a home weather station? Our old cheapo La Crosse unit bit the dust finally. I don't necessarily need one with an anemometer, but it seems like all the ones that just do temp / humidity have big accuracy problems.

Is it really go big like this or go home? How durable are these beastly looking things?Cpv17 wrote: ↑Sun Feb 26, 2023 2:48 pmHere you go:

81°F but the DP is about 60°.
I hate turning on the A/C, but because it's not ridiculously humid and lows will reach the 50s, I'll allow it.

It’s the best weather station I’ve ever owned so far. Good longevity. Pretty durable.Cromagnum wrote: ↑Sun Feb 26, 2023 4:13 pmIs it really go big like this or go home? How durable are these beastly looking things?Cpv17 wrote: ↑Sun Feb 26, 2023 2:48 pmHere you go:

That one is pretty cool, but we really don't need all those features. Simple temp and humidity will suffice, so long as they are reasonably accurate.
