Models are starting to suggest the cold air will return around spring break (3/11-3/18). I would say there is a 95% chance this verifies. :)

Got about a tenth to maybe just under 2 tenths here in Fairfield, not much but enough to leave the cars really dirty with the west Texas dirt mixed in with the rain and pollen. It looked better on radar but i didn't even hear a weak rumble of thunder.

Another Chamber of Commerce Day here in the NW territories. 69°F, 44 DP. We got luck with rain last night (0.52 inches). Perfection. It rarely happens.

More severe weather and the furnace are on the horizon soon enough.

I would never care to go to the beach in March. Water temps are way too cold for my liking. I would never get in the water over here at any beach in Texas because of how disgusting they are but in Florida I’m sure that’s a different story. I’ve never been to Florida so I wouldn’t really know how nice their beaches are but I’m sure it’s a million times better than the crap we have here. I don’t even go to the beaches here. The only time I go down to the coast here is to go fishing. Haven’t been to a Texas beach in probably 5 years. Not worth going.

Man, I’m loving the latest CPC forecast! Haven’t seen it that good since the December cold blast.

Cpv17 GOM water temp’s are running about 6-8 degrees above normal off the florida coast, around 71-72 ish where im going, i go to florida often during breaks , I actually enjoy swimming in the cold water haha, but in terms of beaches, florida beats texas by a landslide, they are far more cleaner and the water is pretty clear unlike the mucky stuff in galveston

I would never step foot in 71° degree water. I’d freeze my a** off. Galveston beaches and every other beach in Texas (even South Padre) are disgusting.

I prefer my water temp in the mid 80’s to low 90’s.

Really surprising to see from the CPC , I knew we would get colder, but didnt think a high risk of hazardous temperatures would be issued for a good chunk of the state including se texas👀👀

S2k has been REALLY quiet. I figured with the potential about some colder air coming it would be a little more active then what it has been but I guess not

Its March. Although we have had late freezes before it is way against climatology.

Lets wait and see what happens....the cpc doesn't issue a forecast like that if that there wasn't high confidence.

Well, not sold on anything extreme. That’s why. Cool, but it’s looking more like spring is here ..
