Looks like most of the precip is going to be post frontal,so im not concerned about severe weather.Still looks like a pretty rainy day for those along and north of I-10 as a disturbance passes through behind the front.
Most of the precip may not be till tonight and overnight.
March 2023
A few doses of heavy sprinkles/ light rain earlier. Hopefully can manage 0.5 inch or more tonight.

How really inconvenient, traveling home from seaside tommorow, looks like an ugly day of driving
Is this actually going to ro anything in our area later? Radar looks pretty weak sauce along I10
As i mentioned above most precip wont be till later tonight after the front gets here (around midnight in the Houston area). Mainly overnight into tomorrow morning.
The HRRR at 7 AM tommorow
Great time for the radar to go out…
Some thunder in the Land of Sugar with brief bouts of cats and dogs, in between fairly steady kittens and puppies.
Decent sized band on the radar stretching from Greatwood to north of the Katy Fwy.

As expected the disturbance is now moving into the area.
Weather app shows 34 Monday AM.
NWS went from 40’s to 35.
A little too close for comfort.
Had a great rain last night. I haven’t checked the rain gauge yet. It’s a good day to stay inside.

Yes! Nice rains across the area with widespread rainfall amounts of 1-3 inches for most of SE Texas.

Daily SOI currently has a 6 day streak of negative values, maybe we may get a stormy summer after all...

I'd rather have that over very hot and dry La Nina summers.
Agree, we can use a wet summer i don't want another year of drought again.
Are you crazy? Lol what’s up with you and your dislike for rain?
I picked up 1.25”! Pleasantly surprised!

Cpv17 I dont dislike rain at all, but when it rains everyday, that gets old real fast, my ideal weather would be maybe some seabreeze action for an hour or two and then dry weather after that, id take that

If it were up to me, there would be a 3/4 to 1 inch of rain every week of Summer. Whether that's one storm or a shower every day, I don't care.
Hot weather sucks.
