It was strange. For about an hour it sounded like a tropical storm. It finally slowed-down and I fell back asleep.
That's what I told my wife as well! Went to let out the dog since we were already up, and the trees were almost sideways at one point in the yard.......

My cul-de-sac looks like a garbage dump. Seriously it looks like after a TS blew through.

Side note: the lawn gets done on Thursday. I think this is 4th week in a row it rained down debris within hours. First world issues.

There’s actually a lot of wind damage in our neighborhood. Some trees down. I have some broken pots outside. I’m honestly a little pissed there wasn’t a wind advisory, nothing from the NWS. Warning system fail.

The rare high risk has been hoisted from the SPC just now. Could be in for a historic severe weather outbreak from Arkansas, northern Mississippi, and stretching north into Illinois.

Absolutely devastating news coming in from little rock, massive tornado, probably ef-4 maybe ef-5, no reported deaths but already 600+ injuries reported…. Another reason why severe weather makes me sick to my stomach

Yep. Unreal. I think Tuesday is gonna be another really bad day. Looks to be centered over Missouri right now.

I have distant relatives in the Little Rock area and thank goodness they are all OK.

Something is trying to build on this convergence but just won’t. Cap wins…(this is on Sawdust Road - I recommend Julio’s)

> 40 tornadoes in this historic outbreak and it just keeps continuing. Really nasty one in Illinois. Fortunately, in a sparsely populated area. Prayers for everyone in LR and in the current path of these cells.

Tornadoes NE of Memphis. I hope Memphis and Nashville escape the cells that keep on forming.

So much for rain today. Spread weed killer yesterday thinking it was going to rain today, and that all just fizzled away.
