You wonder what day is a tropical cyclone is going to make landfall on the Upper Texas Coast. Here is what I found from 1870 to now.

Overall (Tropical Depression, Storms, Hurricanes, and Major Hurricanes)
Tuesday=14
Sunday/Friday=12
Thursday=10
Monday/Saturday=9
Wednesday=8

Overall Probability
Sunday=Every 11.7 years
Monday=Every 15.6 years
Tuesday=Every 10 years
Wednesday=Every 17.5 years
Thursday=Every 14 years
Friday=Every 11.7 years
Saturday=Every 15.6 years

Overall, Tuesday is the best chance to see a tropical cyclone to make landfall on the Upper Texas Coast. Now, let's look at hurricanes.

Monday=Every 46.7 years
