To say the least. It’s gotta be tough dealing with what, 5 storms last year alone? Now a potential major knocking on the door. Sheesh. I’m happy I’m not dealing with that, but I also feel for those that are going to have to deal with it.

It’s gut-wrenching to see. I was born and raised near Vermilion Bay. I’m not sure what else that state can take.

Yes it is. While there is always that wishcaster, what’s to experience it, is thrilled by it, etc. I am thrilled by Mother Nature in general. Having said that, these storms cause life altering changes and it’s sad. We all support each other, the LA Navy was amazing during Harvey! As sad and destructive as it all is, when these things happen, the best of people come out too.

As a fellow Doctor, I can assure you that he's tired too. We all are tired — of these perfectly good storms being wasted on those boonies in Louisiana.
Am I missing something?

Stratton has multiple (troll) personalities. Some are more tropikal than others.

Even if she shifted west a bit, I think we would still be fine here in the Golden Triangle. Right now I think all we will see is elevated seas especially at high tide, maybe an extreme outer rain band and breezy. Nothing we cant handle. I would even go as far to say even LC will be fine as well. After Lake Charles eastward, it will be mayhem.
