Yeah, could be a problem. Could be even worse for Lake Charles.

CoC appears to have stalled, at least momentarily. The bucking bronco ride is going to last a bit.

Looks like the Eastward movement has stalled, and a more Northward movement is beginning.

The dew point here is below 70F. Not what you would expect with a storm still to the west of this longitude. Lots of dry air to the north and west.

I've seen plenty of potent hurricanes in NC (Sept, Oct) where the DP is under 70°F in outer bands.

I've got the CoC now onshore with that northward jog. That windfield has really expanded this evening.
