I mean their really isnt much reason to talk about this, impacts will be virtually zero in SE Texas, this system will likely not make landfall any further north than corpus, so i really dont see any rain at all here in se texas
Model guidance is honing in more or just south of corpus, this isnt our system and never really was lol

The board is as dead as my grass. Until this heat ridge disappears or shifts further north, east or out to the West, our fire danger will increase and rain chances will be zero

Summer sucks y’all and it sucks far far far more than any other season. It’s not up for debate.

Our only hope for now is the EPAC crossover system.

Cpv17 upper level pattern doesnt even look that favorable for something to come here even if it crosses into the gulf, the euro keeps it trapped in the S. Gulf

Ensembles look a bit better. I’m not saying it’ll happen. In fact, I doubt anything comes of it but I’m still trying to be at least somewhat optimistic lol

It’s probably not going to. Long range models are showing it sticking around into September.

Ar this point im never believing another model showing rain until el nino effects really start to kick in, this summer has been a joke and the models nothing more than a massive tease every time, the fact that areas like San Diego are going to see more rain in one day than we have seen all summer is actually embarrassing, i cant blame people for wanting to move out of texas with this weather

Haha I’m not going anywhere man! I love my state of Texas. Wouldn’t wanna live anywhere else but I’m a fairly closed-minded person overall. I’m not big on trying new things.

Just can’t get excited about a Day 8-14 solution 😂 That said, El Nino gears are already turning and we *do need to keep a *casual eye on the BOC.
