21°F here with a wind chill of 7°F. Still an icy mist, but sleet is expected later tonight and tomorrow.

OK - I see the band now. It's running from Schulenburg, just barely west of us and through Franklin to Fairfield.

Come just a little more east!

Ok radarscope is a great app to have for a good radar depiction. I see the precip. It picks up the drizzle that other radars don't! There is a band out in the Gulf by Galveston moving northwest too.

This is what we call grasping at straws

In all seriousness, I'm glad you are enjoying the cold weather with some winter precip and the bourbon!! :P

I'm watching the pre-recorded Cowboys game in 4K, finally, since I was prepping all day, with some wine with with my beautiful bride of 21 years. I'm down to 2 minutes left in the game.

Everything is covered or inside as best as can be - I think the mule palms will be fine. We stocked-up on food so I actually hope we get some winter precip out of this so the kids and my wife can have a 'snow day' on Tuesday.

Be safe everyone, and stay home if the roads are icy!!

You're going to need more wine. ;)

That Weimar band is now continuous with the snow band that runs from Palestine to Longview to Memphis, TN, KY

That reminds me. There used to be a few gnarly palmetto trees in front of G Rollie, before the Kyle Field reno. May they RIP. I'm not sure how they survived in the Brazos Valley. They looked in pretty ragged shape.

It doesn’t take much ice to lose control. We are staying off the roads.
