Remember this, and it is Meteorology 101. The Earth likes to be equal. It will do all it can to be equal. The ups and downs of weather could be considered normal for the times we study it. It was extremely warm for the CONUS all of this past week. There maybe changes on the horizon for the month of January. It is is weather and the complexities of it is why we study.

Frost/light freeze likely tomorrow night and Tuesday night in CLL.

I'm pulling for the Canadian and a potential 24°F low Tuesday night. GEPS concurs. A nice cold blast would put a block on weeds and insects. CMC and GEPS also favor very cold air spilling into the mountain west before mid-month.

S2K update...it appears to be a power issue. IT/server owner is on site at data center checking problem out so the site can be brought back up.

Yep, seems to be packing a bit more of a punch than usual behind fronts.

Had a low of 23F here. It’s expected to get into the teens tonight.
