Nasty CG here in Jersey Village area. Just pulled the neighborhood kids out of the pool. No outflow boundary yet.

Well this is fun...HGX issues Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Harris, Ft Bend & Waller Counties. Getting frequent CG and pea to quarter size hail with winds gusting to 45 mph up here. Power just came back up.

Judging by the watch orientation, my fear looks valid. It was over before it started in South Montgomery. Everything is quickly pushing SW.

There is another agitated cumulus field from deep east Texas into central Louisiana, while it isn't a favored area..watch for further development here as well. Radar even had a few echoes moving swiftly east into Texas from this area, nothing sustained yet though.

Well...the rain has missed my yard the past two weeks...I guess today will be no different... Glad for those who do get a nice cooling shower!

HGX hit 105F today and Hobby 102F. I had 104F before that storm blew in.

Looking less likely. The weekend may be a different story and closer to the Coastal Counties.

I hit 108 today - yikes! The pool is still 90. And not a drop here.
