didn't the euro had that a couple of days ago...before that the gfs last sunday nite sitting off the upper tx coast...hmmm, might be some validity to the gfs sniffing out long range loosing it in the mid and picking back in the short...time will tell...

Boy, with the angle it's coming in at, wouldn't take much of a shift a hair further west and blammo. If this thing continues to struggle to get it's act together, not out of the question in my amateur opinion.

You're right. I'm really afraid for NOLA but starting to have an unsettle feeling even farther west. But we'll probably go to sleep and wake up to it going the other way. It kinda reminds me of Rita. Of course all this is subject to change. I guess this is why we all find weather so fascenating.
