Pretty decent rain right now in Cypress (Lakewood Forest area)....temp is 33, feels like 28.

What part are you in? I'm in The Woodlands - have been listening to the rain, but haven't gone out to look (of course it's dark) to see any sleet. I'm going to have to keep a close eye since I am expected to be at work in the morning.

Wow, the winds ours howling here in Beaumont! The inside of my house is howling, mainly from the doggy door, but it brings back memories of a weak TS and the eerie sounds of the howling winds...lol. So far, WB still says 32, but from what I can tell, still light rain.

I have noticed new convective-like bands forming along the I-35 corridor to our west. This is in response to increased lift moving-in.

Looks like Ed is going to get his wish.

Certainly showing up nicely now via EWX radar. Curved banding developing near San Antonio suggest lift is increasing and the sleet falling to our N and W will just assist in further cooling the column.

Plain rain here in south College Station. CLL reporting 35 and frz rn, but nothing's freezing here.

Yeah I'm kinda worried it's all liquid so far. I want it to change to frozen precip soon!

34.1 here now. Should put me at freezing at about 10PM.
