Fairly safe bet that just about everyone will at least see some rain. Rumbles of thunder now in NW Harris County. 8-)

Very heavy rainfall at my house in Sugar Land at the moment .... if this keeps up like this not sure that I will be able to make it to work tonight .... gotta drive to Seabrook.

Seabrook is needless to say very close to Galveston Bay or whatever the name of that body of water is.

* UNTIL 730 PM CDT

* AT 535 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A
BAND OF VERY HEAVY RAIN LOCATED FROM EDNA TO EL CAMPO TO ROSENBERG.
THE HEAVIEST RAINFALL HAS FALLEN NEAR EL CAMPO WHERE RADAR ESTIMATES
INDICATE AROUND 3 INCHES HAS FALLEN. AN ADDITIONAL 1 TO 3 INCHES
OF RAINFALL IS LIKELY IN AND NEAR THIS NEARLY STATIONARY BAND DURING
THE NEXT 2 HOURS.

That would elucidate the reason for all of that light to very heavy rain in the Texas panhandle.

Look W of Del Rio. Same area where this meso formed last night I believe.

SLOWLY SHIFT EAST-SOUTHEASTWARD ACROSS SOUTHEAST TX AND THE
MIDDLE/UPPER TX COAST THIS EVENING INCLUDING THE HOUSTON VICINITY.

RELATIVELY SLOW MOVING/COLD POOL-DRIVEN MCS WILL CONTINUE TO
PROPAGATE EAST-SOUTHEASTWARD ACROSS SOUTHEAST TX AND THE MIDDLE TO

I do not know about any of you, but it looks like that line storms, which has formed into a bow, just may be producing strong wind gusts.
