Hello to Invest 93L. Low chances of development over the next 5 days. This is a friendly reminder that its hurricane season is here.

TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK
NWS NATIONAL HURRICANE CENTER MIAMI FL
800 PM EDT THU JUL 16 2015

For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico:

1. A westward-moving tropical wave located more than 1000 miles
west-southwest of the Cape Verde Islands is producing a large area
of cloudiness and showers. Environmental conditions are expected
to be marginally conducive for some slow development of this
disturbance through the weekend, with upper-level winds becoming
less favorable early next week.
* Formation chance through 48 hours...low...10 percent
* Formation chance through 5 days...low...20 percent

It's floundering bad, but looks like recovery is happening, and it should continue to do so for the next 24-36 hours. I would count on chances to go up. Probably will be near depression by this time tomorrow, then it will die a quick death. But don't let that fool you. Once 93L gets closer to the US, well, who knows? Personally, I think this will traverse right over the DR and then strengthen NE of the Bahamas. (Don't see a threat to us, but then, I'm not Brooks) It may also well go further NE than I'm saying and get snagged by the next front coming through. Anyone agree?
