Reports of sleet falling just north of Beaumont and lake charles...

That was not expected.

12z GFS looks like the ICON showing temps being colder on Wednesday. Looks more and more likely that we may end up with two major winter storms back to back.

I know its early and we still have to get through storm #1 but the storm on Wednesday may be even stronger than Mondays storm. As models are starting to converge on a major ice storm for southeast Texas after the President day storm.As an even stronger gulf low develops on Wednesday.

Would that impact the coast again? Or is it to early?

National Weather Service just put out a statement. Very strong wording on that statement and they’re saying snow is now likely on Monday.
