The Euro might actually be better this year with genesis. Last year it was terrible but it was still better than the GFS. Anyway, this is the last frame at 240 hours from today’s 12z Euro:

Definitely has something brewing down there in the BOC.

Cp17 yeah I noticed this as well on the Euro, definitely going to watch it as it has ensemble support and the CMC model also is showing something in the BOC by days 8-9

.06” here today. Can’t say that I’m disappointed. Neighbor’s pool started rebar.

00z Euro run definitely is trying to spin up some sort of tropical system in the bay of Campeche around 9 days from now, definitely seeing a strong signal from the models here

Yep the operational Euro is showing tropical genisis like the Canadian and its ensembles. We need to watch this as the persistent weakness over the state is what helps to draws the system north.

I guess we are already moving-on and looking ahead.
This morning’s Space City Weather blog says the worst of the weather is shifting east. Probably some more rain today but not a flood.

Yeah it’ll just be some scattered showers around that will pop with some heating but nothing widespread. I’m bored and over this event. It was largely a bust. I’m on to watching the tropics.

Im pretty confident we are going to really have to watch the gulf next week however CPV17 that is at hour 354 which is 16 days out, not really reliable though

Where the rain does pop up today, rainfall rates should be a good bit higher than they have been.

12z Euro is definitely developing something in the central gulf around the 14th. Looks like we will have to watch the gulf next week

The sky has opened-up over here. Lots of lightning and torrential downpours.

We've been cloudy with just a few tenths of an inch of rain the past 3 days. Would not mind a shower.
