It’s all relative. If you live in College Station, it probably will be a non-event. If you live in Freeport, you may have a colorful night.

We *may be seeing a bit more organization with Nicholas this afternoon. While not completely stacked, the circulation due east of Corpus Christi looks a bit more dominant with some convection even trying to rotate up-shear. We’ll see.

Anyone saying this is a non-event, needs to be careful. Some people come to this forum for weather information in a conversational format. It’s premature to call it a day.

Santa Fe area will see more action than most of us. You’ll probably get 8-12” there with some 60mph gusts, possibly even higher.

Dear All,

This will be an exhaustive couple of days coming up. I know you all have your opinions, but remember, what you might think to be nothing in your area, might be more than enough for others. Please watch how and what you say in your opinions. I am not censoring by any means, but please do not discount ( not that any of you were trying to) a possible event before it happens. The real threat is rain ( if you look at the radar) and that is coming into our area. Please stay safe and monitor all conditions. We all have to be vigilant during this time. This is an ever-changing situation.

Santa Fe is my hometown ( I grew up there). Yes, the conditions will be more intense than in College Station.

Yeah it’s not looking good for you guys up there at all. Hopefully y’all are at least getting some cloud cover to keep the temps down.

CPV17 interesting to see the NWS is giving a 70% chance of rain tomorrow in CS, but have a high temp of 80 as well😄 this cloud cover is definitely making things feel better

Thank You! Not trying to cause problems but the drainage here sucks. I’m just trying to figure it out. Thank you for all the responses.

Taking advantage of the free spot-free power rinse that's on the way and washed my truck (I have super softened water due to our community well). Yall can blame me depending which weather gods that pissed off: the ones that will dry slot us to spoil my efforts, or the ones that will drench us because a clean vehicle is a sin.

The HRRR running right now, keeps the storm offshore past the TX/LA border. Pretty crazy.

Was it the HRRR the one who did well with Harvey? Not saying this is a Harvey by any means...

Cromagnum wrote: Mon Sep 13, 2021 1:18 pm Unless this goes due NW, there is no way it's coming ashore in Matagorda Bay.

The CoC is much closer to shore than as marked.

Props to Nicholas for wrapping up tighter. This would be a good time to prepare ahead for tomorrow.
