I have a low of 22 and zero precip..not sure how that works if Katy and Beaumont have 20 or 30%

18z GFS gets so so close to showing snow, at the 500 mb vort level, the shortwave is not as sheared out on this run

My percentage for Thursday night went up from 20% now to 30% with a temp of 22 for Beaumont. Hmmm…

brazoriatx 500mb vorticity is looking better on the GFS, its not as sheared out meaning it produces more lift

Watch the trough placement. The further south and west it can go the better chance we’ll have for some wintry weather.
