Thats a great outlook, and models are coming into better agreement on our first real fall front of the season in the same time frame, the days with 90โ€™s for highs are becoming limited๐Ÿ˜„its coming

I like that 18z GEFS, keeps us cooler than normal for quite some time, changes are definitely coming

I just want some rain, personally. Donโ€™t really care for too much cooler air to come in. 60โ€™s and 80โ€™s would be fine with me. Anything colder than that and I might start getting sick.

Cpv17 ill take 80โ€™s for highs all day given the hell like weather we had to deal with , but this winter is definitely looking pretty cold around here, hopefully we get some more opportunities for snow down the road with a strong el nino

I will take that too. Certainly better than 90s and 100s.

mcheer23 that would be nice, though its not too crazy usually october is when we start to get those recurving pacific systems spreading moisture into texas

I wouldnโ€™t say that because there was never really any forecast that actually bit into that hype. Most forecasts have mid to upper 60โ€™s lows and mid to upper 80โ€™s highs during that timeframe.

CMC is very bullish with our fall front, GFS decent as well, GFS also showing signs of pacific systems starting to recurve , which could spread moisture over the state in the coming weeks

18z GFS has highs in the upper 60โ€™s to low 70โ€™s on friday and also keeps rain lingering behind the frontal passage
