thought this would be of interest to anyone traveling in state over the next 7 days , GFS op not seeing it, but this is just inside of 6 days , but the GEFS, GEPS and even a couple of EPS members are indicating a secondary disturbance swings in behind the frontal passage and interacts with the cold air that will be funneling in, now let me emphasize that no one should get their hopes up, but thibgs do appear to look a little interesting as we get closer to the 29/30th time frame

Canadian, Euro, EPS are picking up a disturbance and snow around El Paso and the Big Bend - EPS and especially Canadian suggest the disturbance heads east. Other models aren't so sure yet. Something new to look out for.Stratton20 wrote: ↑Wed Dec 24, 2025 5:15 pm thought this would be of interest to anyone traveling in state over the next 7 days , GFS op not seeing it, but this is just inside of 6 days , but the GEFS, GEPS and even a couple of EPS members are indicating a secondary disturbance swings in behind the frontal passage and interacts with the cold air that will be funneling in, now let me emphasize that no one should get their hopes up, but thibgs do appear to look a little interesting as we get closer to the 29/30th time frame

Ok, I’m about ready for this soup bowl weather to go away. Tired of everything being so wet and yucky. Might as well be raining if it’s gonna be like that. I don’t mind the temperatures, but day after day of foggy weather, and clouds not burning off till the afternoon hours, yeah, I’ve had enough.

Merry Christmas. Canadian brings some wintry mischief into east Texas, mostly NE, around Jan 3.
