Same here. Saw some GFS runs this afternoon showing a system around August 5 landing in our part of the coast. I'm sure the track will change this far out. I hope.

Im not overly concerned about it yet given ensemble support outside of the EPS is fairly low, but definitely worth watching, regardless it is a sign that it is about to get extremely active in the atlantic basin soon, could be a rough ride ahead

Im really not seeing any signs of big heat in the models here, im actually see more chances for below average temps / cooler conditions in the coming weeks as we enter august, we will see

Last 4 GFS runs: Texas, Louisiana, Florida, Nothing
That's why model hugging this far out is useless.

The ridging next week is mostly south of us and weak here. Then weakens further the next week across ensembles and models.
Thus mild, but seasonable summer weather ahead. Puffy clouds. Slight chance of rain. Low to mid 90s.
Sprinklers on stun, Kirk out.

It’s gone now but happened also right before Beryl from a comment on X. Strangely specific shape unlike birds or bats causing rings on radar. Also to note it has happened both times on Windy app.

I worry about increasing heat indexes this week. Dewpoints will probably in the mid 70s.
