I think it was someone here that said he does have a sense of humor, and sometimes he messes with cold lovers.

Yes. I have known him over 20 years. He has a wit about him. He likes to play both sides of an argument. Lol. He actually does like cold, as long as snow is part of it.

Read his map. Updated weeklies show otherwise.

wxman is pulling for 82°F. We're looking at 2 weeks out. Nothing is certain.

Ridging isn’t quite perfectly located yet on the ensembles up north, but both the Euro and GFS ensembles are trending in the right direction for cold as we head towards the second week of January.

The 12Z GFS shows a massive winter storm over the state similar to the February 2022 storm.

love that GFS run, it appears today the trends have been for a faster pull up of the - EPO ridge, if we get any sort of storm track like what the GFS has , deep track into mexico, i like our chances of seeing some wintry dub in the coming weeks

With zero snow for the Houston area. I know it’s early, but just sharing for those who haven’t seen the maps themselves.

For some further north and west in the state. No fun for Houston on that run.

Snow reaches past the I-35 corridor. We could have a ball game.

The freezing line runs through College Station and close to NW Harris Co. 2 weeks out. We'll see if the forecast sticks.
