This rain is nonstop. Just when we think it's slowing down it ramps right back up again. Numerous flooded and impassable streets in sugarland

Training continues back to Victoria. Low level jet inflow off the Gulf has maintained thunderstorms four more than 5 hours across portions of SE Texas and Metro Houston.

Frank Billingsley on ABC is basically saying the line has nowhere to go. It's being fed by the southerly flow off the Gulf and held in place by that flow. It's essentially acting as a tropical storm for purposes of a rain engine being fed from the Gulf. He thinks it will rain for at least a few more hours. :shock:
