Just a little tidbit, before my home weather station recycles - my 30-day high temp was 93F on 4/10.

So far in May, I’ve had 9.31” of rain!

Folks to the S and E of NW Harris County really need to keep weather aware. Training storms are showing signs of expanding and very slowly sagging toward the Coast. Just because you have not seen heavy rainfall or hail just yet does NOT mean your out of the woods. The current event is far from over!

Intense cell over Egypt.

Stay indoors. Turn around, don't drown.

Cells along the line are reloading all the way into Mexico.

BCS is right on the northern border. Intense cells from Todd Mission and south and west.

@CoCoRaHS Coordinator, always an interesting twitter feed: https://twitter.com/BillyForney3

Finally starting to fire on Houston’s south side. Lightning strikes continue to discharge 5-15 miles away from the main convection.

Be weather aware out there. Lightning and hail are major issues in some@of these cells.

What about southwest? I am in Stafford, everything appears to be pushing up. Not that I am wishing for heavy rain. ;) Not letting our guard down.

Should be interesting when those folks leave MMP after the game is over.

Driving from Houston down to south Texas? No need for your headlights: nearly continuous line of lightning strikes lighting up the night sky tonight.

Very dangerous situation, not only due to the electrical discharge, but also due to high rain rates in storms. #txwx
