An Extremely Unusual March

If you thought March 2012 was anomalous. Try March 1843, which was extremely anomalous. It was a cold March with an anomaly as low as -25! :shock: :o

If that happened today, the anomaly would be -10 and average temperature for March would be 52.7F, which would be colder than the coldest March on record in 1915.
