Was that the case last winter?Stratton20 wrote: ↑Wed Nov 10, 2021 8:13 pm Kingwood36 a warm november does not always translate to a warm december lol
it shall be warm...very warm...
November and December 2020 were warm. A cold November does not mean cold December or vice versa. November 1989 was warm, while December 1989 was cold.Iceresistance wrote: ↑Fri Nov 12, 2021 2:01 pmWas that the case last winter?Stratton20 wrote: ↑Wed Nov 10, 2021 8:13 pm Kingwood36 a warm november does not always translate to a warm december lol

The 12z GEFS (November 21st, 2021) is showing this for December, it's been showing the primed cold air for a while. (not in detail until now)

Iceresistance yes Ive seen this, I definitely think we will get a few cold snaps in december, but the cold air definitely will start to build up in canada over the next several weeks, just a matter of wheb it comes down and where it goes

The GFS model is showing consistency of at least 1-2 major Winter Storms across the CONUS in Early December

Iceresistance that is pretty far out, still their are signs as we approach the first week of December of potentially arctic air spilling into the united states
Any heading to SETX?Iceresistance wrote: ↑Mon Nov 22, 2021 8:15 pm The GFS model is showing consistency of at least 1-2 major Winter Storms across the CONUS in Early December

Don't know, it's too far out to be 100% sure.sambucol wrote: ↑Mon Nov 22, 2021 8:42 pmAny heading to SETX?Iceresistance wrote: ↑Mon Nov 22, 2021 8:15 pm The GFS model is showing consistency of at least 1-2 major Winter Storms across the CONUS in Early December
EDIT: The 2 storms are no longer there, but there is consistency for a cold wave in the same time period
The 12z GFS must be drunk. It’s showing a 1067mb high in western Canada.
