I feel this. All I’ve gotten is a quarter inch as well. At least that’s enough to settle the dust for a couple days.captainbarbossa19 wrote: ↑Mon Apr 25, 2022 5:07 pmI had some rain, but not nearly that much. I had about a quarter inch. Share next time please haha!
April 2022
Very beneficial rains here in Friendswood.
It doesn’t look exactly that promising south of I-10 with next weeks system either. Although it does look better than this current system per the Euro. The Euro looks the best. The GFS doesn’t have much for coastal areas next week or much of anything for all of southeast TX for that matter.
2.6 inches total. A good haul for greening and enjoying the cooler air. Models were spot on. Potentially, another 1-2 inches in next week's storm. That would be very nice.
Still raining heavy here! I'm very thankful for the much needed rain. Some areas are approaching 4 inches of rainfall.

I have higher hopes with this next system now after the general success with this one. When Texas starts receiving widespread rain this time of year, a trend usually develops. Things will rapidly green up now and the atmosphere should respond with more moisture available for future systems.Cpv17 wrote: ↑Mon Apr 25, 2022 7:21 pmIt doesn’t look exactly that promising south of I-10 with next weeks system either. Close to 2.50” yesterday. Thats awesome. I cant remember last time we got that much. I’ll gladly take it. Hopefully this is a sign of things to come. Good things. I second what Herzog posted… “ It's nice to get a "normal" rain for a change. Nothing severe, hardly any street flooding.
Just a life-giving rain. Thank you!”

2.25" In Fairfield part of Cypress. Very grateful but hope there's more in the coming weeks.
Well the rain for next week is now gone on the GFS and Euro.
I emptied 1.34” from the rain cylinder this morning. I am very thankful for the rain.
Emptied out just shy of 2 inches from mine. Will gladly take it.
I got a total of 1.6 inches.
2.25” here. Sooo thankful. I can still hear my yard rejoicing on my ring camera. Lol
