During the summer if you look at satellite image notice large clusters of really intense thunderstorms over northwestern Mexico every night. You wonder what is causing it. It is caused by the North American Monsoon, which is most active from July to September. It is similar to the Indian Monsoon, except there are no high moutains around northern Mexico and southern Arizona and New Mexico. I wonder what it would be like to go through those storms. I imagine it would constant lightning and heavy rains every night.
