Gfs shows hit and miss mainly Sunday evening and Thursday. Other than that nothing. A little system goes east like usual.

TexasBreeze yup , a few days ago it was looking decent for rain this week, now it’s probably going to be another bone dry week with maybe an isolated shower if we are lucky, this summer truely sucks

Roasting outside. My home thermometer hit 103 and my car going down the road was 106 at times.

I have to admit it, but Jasons2k is right. I'm honestly starting to hate the weather in this state.

It’s hot out there. I got home about 6:15 and it was 102 at my house. It had gotten up to 104 this afternoon. Brutal and tomorrow is supposed to be hotter.

On the flip side, humidity is in the 30s so it’s hot but part of me would rather have this than 94 degrees and 90% humidity. I’d sure like some rain though and at this rate, it’s going to take a tropical storm to offset this deficit that’s quickly getting worse. I’ll pass on a Harvey/Allison repeat, I’d rather water every day and get a tan. A good 5 to 8 inches in a storm over 2-3 days is all I want.

Heat index of 113°F today. It is now Night. And still 97°F with a DP near 70°F. Can't really walk the dog.

I needed to get rich and GTFO here.

A slight chance of rain on Thursday. Agreement across models about the weak TS affecting LA more than TX. GFS is backing off our slight rain chances next week.

I bet it will get even hotter as we head into late July/early August. I bet 105-110 every day for y’all in BCS.

Any family or friends in Louisiana might need to pay attentionto the forecast early this week , the 00z GFS stalls a weak low and produces copious amounts of rain as it gets trapped by ridging, has some ridiculous 25-30 inch amounts over SE Lousiana, meanwhile less than a inch for most of SE Texas lol

I’ve noticed over the years that the Euro (for whatever reason) likes to strengthen tc’s over land but it usually only does it to weaker storms that form near the coast.

Cpv17 yeah thats so weird, though this run would be amazing for SE Texas, hope the euro is on to something, continues to track WNW across SE Texas later in the run

Nhc placed an x/20% on this area from Georgia to the northern Gulf.

The Storm Prediction Center has a marginal risk for severe thunderstorms across SE TX today.

Got done mowing outside before it gets "hot"...

Who am I kidding? It's brutal outside 24-7 right now.

Knowing the Euro, wouldn’t be surprised if last nights run was a troll run, bet it shifts back into Louisiana on the 12z run lol

And as I suspected it did shift back into Louisiana typical euro being a troll , dont even bother giving this disturbance much attention, just more miserable hot and dry weather ahead of us, this summer is easily going down as one of the worst ever, cant wait for winter! Mother nature has a grudge against Texas
