Man, Costco is the best!! Especially for gas - they are a top tier gasoline so I can use it in my picky cars too

Wasn’t even aware it rained anywhere today. Crickets here in Wharton County. Been stuck on 9.2” for the year for a while now.

You still haven't had rain? It's been a little busy over there the last week or so - I thought you would have gotten something by now.
I know the feeling. I know I sound upset/desperate at times with the drought but in the big scheme of life, I don't let it get to me too much. Sometimes I just vent to my weather pals on here because only y'all can understand
I know someday it will turn around for us. It always does, eventually.

It rains in the same places over and over again. My cousin in Wharton has gotten double what I’ve gotten on the year. I’m damn near convinced that people who need and complain about the lack of rain are the ones who don’t get it and the ones who don’t give 2 cents about rain are the ones who get it.

Wow, I just noticed that. I also noticed the only area of Texas not in a dry/drought category at all is a small sliver in far West Texas near El Paso. how ironic is that?!?!

I got rain and I'm still complaining. I just wish that these summer sea-breeze storms were big wide complexes with loads of coverage — if not every day, then every other day. Solid totals even in lieu of tropical systems.
I hate summer dryness, or just dry climates in general. I don't want any hint of drought anywhere in SE and coastal Texas — not even just Greater Houston, there's no reason that places right on the Gulf like Brownsville/SPI should be struggling so much with rainfall.

We’ve been getting 2 tenths here 3 tenths there maybe once or twice a month for the past few months now but nothing substantial. 75% of my 9.2” on the year came pretty early in the year.

I’ve had to throw in the towel and soak down everything again today (wife made me - said the plants can’t take any more).
