I'm temporarily staying in Bay City at the moment. I just checked the centerpoint outage numbers i haven't seen outages this bad since Ike.

To say the least. Lost power here around 4am. Drive around the neighborhood and the tree damage is incredible.

I had a massive Bur Oak lose a good 1/3 of its limbs and some fence sections down. Others weren’t as lucky. I saw 7-8 houses with trees down on or into the house. So many trees/fences destroyed out here. Hoping power comes back sooner rather than later.

Pretty much similar just different part of Houston. Ike was supposed to take the track Beryl did but ended up down I45 and poor people on Bolivar thought they were in the clear. Sad what ended up happening there

That was tragic on Bolivar Island as homes were just erased by the back surge. Originally, Ike was supposed to blaze through College Station as a hurricane, instead of though Conroe and Huntsville.

I remember that. Ike was also forecasted to be a Category 3 hurricane.

DP of 69°F here on the backside. Went for a walk/run with the dog. Our DP had been about 79°F for a couple of weeks at least.

2.98 inches of rain. We were fortunate. Hope everyone's power is back on really soon and any repairs are completed swiftly.

New Caney got smacked good I’m not sure if we just got a really bad band or what I’ve never been through anything like that. We have trees down everywhere and my yard looks like a bomb went off.
We also have major power line issues as well

Beryl was the most intense storm I’ve ever experienced. I’ll never forget her! No power here for officially 20 hours now.

My power is out. There is so much yard debris and damaged crapes. It's a mess. This situation could have been a lot worse for all of us. What a horrible time for me to have no power with all of these health issues.

Walking, talking, breathing. Thank the powers to be.

I have power, but my internet went kapoof, in a city of 500,000 folks, my street was the only one to maintain power in katy , talk about luck, good news is we should have several days of quiet weather to aid in the recovery affords, hope yall get you’re power back soon!

Im sick of Beryl since he put a tree on my house. Hopefully we all get power soon. This heat will start cranking back up today!

Beryl made Hurricane Nicholas (2021) look like child's play. Both were cat 1's that made landfall near the same area.

Nicholas was pretty much a nonevent for a good portion of our area due to its weird track.
