This Saturday is the last home game of the year at Kyle Field. With the Aggies winning their last 4 games in a row, including a huge upset against OU, there is tremendous expectations for the Aggies going against Nebraska. According to the Athletic Director, Bill Byrn, we are trying to get 30,000 students to attend the game. If that is accomplished, it will be the largest student body presence at any game anywhere in the ENTIRE COUNTRY--Ever! Guiness World Records will be there on Saturday to make it official. Bill Byrn is expecting an overall attendance of 90-92k people! If that is the case, we will also set an all-time attendance record at Kyle Field (offical capacity being 82,500). If we win the game against #8 Nebraska and go on to beat the Longhorns, we COULD be competing for the Big 12 Title. So I guess what I'm saying here is.....

GIG'EM AGGIES! BTHO NEBRASKA!!!

A 9-6 win for the Aggies over Nebraska!

Of course, Nebraska had over 10 penalties in the game including one BS late hit call on the final Aggies drive which resulted in the FG to go up 9-6, but I'd imagine the record crowd will take it... I mean, I like the Aggies, but that was not a late hit on the Aggies' QB on that crucial 3rd down play. I know they are trying to protect QBs a lot more now, but when a guy is running full speed into the QB who has just thrown the ball, how the hell is he supposed to stop? Honestly, if that's not called Nebraska would have probably recieved the ball and driven down the field to win.

Still, Nebraska played very a sloppy game and probably deserved to lose, and allowed the Aggies to pound themselves to a win. First win for the Aggies against a top ten team since 2002 when they beat #1 Oklahoma. A job well done by Sherman and the coaching staff to pull this team together this year after losing 3 straight. I'm sure Aggie fans are very excited about next year's prospects as the team is very young and most will return next year.

A definite congrats on setting the new record today, too

Texas beat Nebraska earlier this season and they were #5. Anyways, I still remember Texas A&M beating #1 Oklahoma in 2002. Made my day much better. 8-)

First things first: Record Broken! Total STUDENT attendance was 31,005. That makes it the largest collegiate student body ever, of any university, to attend a game. Second, we set an all-time record at Kyle Field of 90,079 people. It was by far the craziest, loudest most intense game I've ever been to.

Of the 16, that's SIXTEEN, penalties against Nebraska, 15 were deserved. The 'ruffing the passer' penalty was questionable. But of the 145 yards in penalties, 15 yards is nothing. That leaves 130 yards of well deserved penalties including obvious ones such as 3 off side calls, 2 pass interference, and several holding calls. Bo spent the entire game throwing F-bombs at the refs and even cursing his own quarterback (big ego vs. big ego). Maybe if he had spent more time coaching instead of throwing a tantrum, they might have found themselves in a position to win the game. Regardless of calls, good or bad, they should not determine the outcome of a game. The point is the offense of Nebraska didn't show up. Both teams D-line played exceptionally well. But irate attitudes, brought on by the coach and passed on to the players had a lot to do with the upset.

It's irritating to see the Aggies always being hated on. A&M is a damn good team and the fact that we've upset two #8 teams in one season says a lot about our program, coach, quarterback and the 12th Man. You don't upset big teams with good records by happenstance.

It was an unbelievable atmosphere to be a part of. I'm still without a voice :D

The roughing the passer penalty was a BS call, but Pelini was just asking the refs to throw a flag every chance they got. Pelini lost his composure, and that was reflected in the way his team played. Real class act berating his starting qb on the sidelines.

Huge win for the Ags. No one in their right time would have predicted wins over two top ten teams after the mizzou debacle. Now it's time to take care of business in austin. Gig 'Em :D
