I don't get it either. You will not catch me model forecasting anymore. It takes more time to accurately forecast the old fashion way. Though not 100% accurate all of the time, it is by far more accurate and reliable than anything weather people do today. I've never seen such off forecasting like seen over the past few years. Each weather service can use different models to base their forecast on. Have you ever looked at the forecast for your area from TWC? It is always so far from reality that you have to ask yourself what is the point of it all. This week with 93L and the ending disappointment was yet another example. Never again for me.
