The GFS should score major points if this happens. Its been VERY persistent.

No snow on the Icon, but definitely ice with temps in the 20s.

The NW gulf region certainly looks very active. I wonder if it will have enough time over water to make TD status. I am definitely looking forward to some beneficial rain! I just hope it is nothing serious.

Looks like it’s not far from Lake Charles and from TX/LA border.

12z Nam 12km keeps the system along the coast west towards Texas. Not really much development from it. It doesn't dig the system far enough south. 3km Nam is much different though. Curious to see if the 12z GFS strengthens the system some based on all the activity in the Gulf.

The 12z Euro is pretty close to previous run..

Activity has definitely increased on radar. Just got a nice heavy burst of rain here at work.

We had a brief sleet shower here at the office in the Galleria area.

I may be crazy but my fellow coworkers and myself saw tiny snow flurries here in the Westchase area. It only lasted for maybe a minute but you could tell it was certainly not rain. Maybe sleet? It looked more like little flurries to me though. Anyone else see anything like this?

What does it look like for areas north of Houston like Willis area?
