CPV17 I disagree the 12z EPS, GEFS and GEPS are still somewhat aggressive with it

On yesterday’s date, it got down to 5°F in Houston in 1930 which is the all time record low temperature. Never even knew it was cold in 1930. No one has ever mentioned it as far as I know.

Yesterday’s 12z Euro run had a 1050mb high. Today it was only like 1037mb, I believe. That’s what I was referring to.Stratton20 wrote: ↑Wed Jan 19, 2022 2:25 pm I disagree the 12z EPS, GEFS and GEPS are still somewhat aggressive with it

Lowered chances for Beaumont on wintry mix. Todays/tonights storms may be a doozy though. Winter weather does look to be a S Tx storm. Have fun. Our turn will come.

Earlier today on S2K, 57 mentioned that the west Gulf lows have been very active this winter and because of that reason there could be an increased snow chance for us late January into February.

Well, it could be a little bumpy this evening. Be weather aware. The dynamics are there for gusty winds, frequent lightning and hail.
