51°F down to 30°F in an hour here and heading for the 20s then teens. The coldest December air I've seen in 30 years in Texas. I'd hate to see it if it wasn't modifying!

You’d be pushing 0°F if there was a better snowpack. Probably 5-10°F in Houston area.

That's good IMO i wouldn't want it to be any colder than it already is.

Right! Mid teens with 0°F wind chill is plenty cold.

GEM now has 10°F and HRRR 12°F for the low here. wind chills could be below 0°F - good thing it's modified!

No question on Albedo. That was the difference in Feb. 2022. That 6 inch thick layer of snow and ice. It also kept the cold around 2-3 days longer.
