When I left the office at 290/Hollister it was 58. By the time I got to the house here in Cypress, down to 38.

25°F is closing in on us. 14°F in DFW and 10°F at the Red River.
The farthest south I see the cold air is Cuero so far, but this is headed to the RGV.

Got my new toy in just in time. Since my weather station won’t be in till Saturday I went ahead and found this on Amazon so I can at least have something to measure the temperature besides apps on my phone that half the time aren’t even accurate. This is the current temp here:

This is made my Ambient so it’s probably pretty accurate.

24-25°F locally.
Clouds are dispersing. Radiant cooling here we come in addition to the advection from Siberia.

Do you still think the stations are being safe with temps?

I think they are trying to be accurate now.christinac2016 wrote: ↑Thu Dec 22, 2022 5:17 pm Do you still think the stations are being safe with temps?
KBTX is going with a range of 8°F - 15°F locally with windchills potentially down to -5°F for the College Station area. NOAA has 12°F for the low temperature tonight.
