Past couple runs of the HRRR don’t look too good south of 10. Interesting the HRRR is now showing some development tomorrow.

Models are not as helpful now. Gotta switch to nowcasting.
10:19: This MCS is holding together nicely, and I noticed the radar just started showing some new showers forming from Matagorda to Bay City, streaming north. That far detached from the MCS means this system has a combination of moist inflow and some serious lift.
There is a cell near Tomball/Creekside that's getting too close for comfort with hail.

10:53: poured hard with round 1. Round 2 on the way.
Ready for pt. 2
More supercells have now developed in the hill country.

The HRRR now has the supercells forming another MCS overnight. A few of the NAM models showed this scenario with the MCS splitting into two separate areas of convection.Seems like they may be right.
Some Bay City rollers popped up a few minutes ago.
Early, would have expected that Saturday night.

Global models are continuing to keep the pattern active around here for quite a while, every few days another trough digs down and provides opportunities for more rain
Bay City Rollers
Haha nice.
Haha nice.
Its pouring here right now!The 2nd MCS is starting to form to our west.
Things are looking good on the radar with the MCS still moving towards the southern half of SE Texas in a few hours(could effect rush hour for some areas in the morning). I'm getting some sleep LOL.
Big hailstorm coming through Brazoria County now. Penny to half inch hailstorm hitting us soon if this maintains strength and course.
Looks pretty danged mean now.
Potent MCS moving through just woke me up.Back to bed LOL.

Little bit of rain but nothing big like yall got here in angleton. Moved through pretty quick. Maybe about 10 mins of rain and it was gone
Well looks like I finish with a nice and very welcomed 2.00” in Beaumont overnight. Was awake and up/down all night with the lightning and dogs who hate Thunderstorms. Thank goodness yesterday was my Friday. Think it’s time for a nap!
